The Road to Independence was an independent, animated film dramatizing the events surrounding the creation and signing of the Declaration of Independence. I was the 3D modeler on the project, my job was to create the interior of independence hall that would be the set for many of the scenes. i worked from copies of the actual floor plans that I found on line in order to model accurately and also used actual shots of the interior for material references such as wood for walls and doors, stone and brick for the fireplaces etc. I did all modeling, texturing, materials, lighting and rendering. I also animated some camera moves to be used in the animation as well. I also created a ‘prologue’ sequence, an out door shot starting at a castle in ‘England’ and then crossing the ocean to the ‘American Colonies’ and ending on an exterior of Independence Hall.
